Press Release | March 27

On December 10, 2018, the Arizona State Charter School Advisory Board issued a license to Integrated Education Foundation, Inc. to operate as Kaleidoscope School in Phoenix, Arizona.

The state approved K-8 charter school will open for the 2019-2020 school year with Kindergarten and First Grade offerings at 3434 W. Greenway Road, Suite 117, Phoenix, AZ 85053. The plan for the 2020-2021 school year is to relocate to another property in the Washington Elementary School District in relative proximity to the current location, and to open additional grade offerings.

Kaleidoscope’s goal is to become an A-rated charter school that offers a high quality, research-based curriculum aligned with Arizona State Standards and reflective of the school’s innovative educational philosophy. Kaleidoscope School’s Core Values are fundamental to the school’s program of instruction, support the vision and shape the school’s culture. In keeping with the Core Values, Kaleidoscope School will provide an educational program that includes collaborative learning, strong character development, learning through structured and unstructured play, meaningful parent involvement and community interactions and outreach opportunities.

Kaleidoscope’s blended learning environment meets the needs of all learning styles. The program offers a unique structure of two educators per classroom, who work collaboratively to incorporate hands-on, engaging and meaningful learning experiences. The program structure is based on innovative, research driven instructional methods and proven curriculum, such as Spalding Writing Road to Reading and the Core Knowledge Program. Kaleidoscope’s educational program incorporates traditional content, teacher created curriculum and innovative instructional methods. This proven dual teaching method allows educators to explore content creatively in a manner that is best suited to the individual needs of students and fosters strong relationships. Kaleidoscope School’s dynamic educational approach fosters confidence in students and creates life long learners.

“The last four years we have become an intricate part of the Washington Elementary School District’s community through our preschool. We are excited to continue this journey with our elementary school by meeting the needs of the children, ” says Principal Robin Soare.
